The Muslim community in Dambai township feels neglected by the country's two major political parties, the NDC and the NPP, during the Eid-al-Fitr celebrations.

This sentiment arises as the community marks the end of Ramadan, a month-long period of fasting and spiritual reflection, with invitations to the parties going unacknowledged.

Eid-al-Fitr is a significant festival in the Islamic calendar, characterized by prayers, feasting, gift-giving, and family gatherings.

Despite sending formal invitations to both parties, neither the MCE nominee, the Regional Minister, nor representatives from the NPP and NDC attended the congregational prayers, known as Salat al-Eid.
