A member of the communications team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ellen Ama Daaku, has said Dr Dominic Ayine will go down as one of the under-performed Attorney Generals in Ghana's history.
According to the outspoken communicator, the Attorney General has begun his work on the wrong footing and has resorted to being biased against the opposition NPP in the cases he decides to prosecute in court.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi Radio, Ellen Ama Daaku said if Dr Ayine does not check his way of handling affairs, he would have achieved nothing by the end of his four-year tenure as the government's chief legal advisor. "Dr.
Ayine cannot tell me-a law student who wants to become like him-that since he became the Attorney General and knowing how the law works, he has decided that a total of 52 persons who have embezzled over $3.7 billion of state funds can go home free by discontinuing the criminal cases against them in court.
