According to Nana Oppong, despite his unwavering support for Akufo-Addo during his campaign, he faced harsh and unfair treatment at the Jubilee House while working as Transport and Logistics Director.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on March 26, 2025, he claimed that some of the president's appointees subjected him to unjustified hardships, and the president failed to intervene on his behalf.
Nana Oppong specifically accused the former Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare, of making his tenure at the presidency difficult.
