The of Ghana has approved an allocation of GH¢146,750,289 for the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) for the year 2025.
This allocation forms part of the 2025 budget appropriation by , following the presentation of this year's Budget Statement and Economic Policy by the Minister for Finance, Dr. , on March 11, 2025.
During proceedings on Thursday, March 27, 2025, the ary Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs presented its report on the 2025 annual estimates for the OSP, including its approval of the stated amount for the office's activities.
Of the total allocated amount, GH¢71,750,289 will go toward compensation payments, GH¢54,910,351 will be used for goods and services, and GH¢20,000,000 is designated for capital expenditure.
