A severe water shortage has forced surgical doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, to suspend all surgical cases.

The hospital has been struggling with a water supply crisis since last week, making it impossible to perform surgical operations safely.

According to citinewsroom.com, the Komfo Anokye Doctors Association issued a memo on March 25, directing hospital management to suspend all surgical cases until the water supply is restored.
