President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring justice in high-profile murder cases that have remained unresolved, including that of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
Speaking during a meeting with Ghana Bar Association leader Efua Ghartey on March 26, 2025, Mahama stressed the need for a thorough investigation and swift prosecution of suspects. "Investigations into significant killings and murders that have remained uninvestigated.
I have urged the police and the investigation organisations to look more actively into such cases, like that of Ahmed Suale. "That is why a first suspect has been arrested, and we are hoping that his interrogation will lead to further arrests of people," he stated.
He also cited the unresolved murder of former MP JB Danquah, calling for expedited investigations to bring closure to such cases.
