Former Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia has appealed to the current government to ensure the Phase II of the Kejetia Market is completed.
He made this known when he visited the central Business District of Kumasi on March 25, 2025. "I want to appeal to the [Mahama] government to complete the 80% done Kejetia Market Phase 2 that we started but couldn't complete," the former vice president appealed.
He used the opportunity to donate an amount of Ghc 200,000 and some 1,000 bags of cement to support the rebuilding of the burnt market.
