The immediate past Director-General of the National Signal Bureau (NSB) of the National Security Council, Mr Kwabena Adu-Boahene, will soon be arraigned for allegedly diverting about GH¢40 million of state money into his personal bank account.
This was announced by the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dr Dominic Akurutinga Ayine, at a press briefing in Accra yesterday.
He said on January 30, 2020, Mr Adu-Boahene in his capacity as Director of the NSB formerly known as the Bureau of National Communication (BNC), signed a contract on behalf of the Government of Ghana and National Security Council, on one hand, and, on the other hand, an Israeli company called ISC Holdings Ltd.
He said the contract was for the purchase of a "Cyber Defence System Software" at a price of US$ 7 million.
