Ghanaian journalist Afia Pokuaa has issued a distressing update on the condition of her colleague, Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii, who has been battling a serious eye injury.
In a Facebook post on March 22, 2025, the female journalist disclosed that Adomah has been battling suicidal ideation since Friday night over the description of his issue as propaganda by Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II. According to Afia Pokuaa, also known as Vim Lady, who is currently based in the United States, it has taken her constant phone interaction with her colleague to calm the situation while his family is searching for emergency drugs to alleviate his plight. "I had to stay on the phone with him throughout the night and this morning to calm him down.
He is so broken and currently in excruciating PAIN that family members are now roaming the streets of Tema and Accra to get emergency drugs for him as we speak, else there will be a crisis.
