Private legal practitioner, Martin Kpebu, has described the National Security operatives' raid on former Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr Ernest Addison's home as shameful and regressive.
In the view of the legal expert, officials of the state should always respect the dignity and rights of suspects or persons of interest when discharging their duties.
Speaking on TV3's 'Key Points' on March 22, 2025, Martin Kpebu stated that such misconduct by state agencies casts a stain on Ghana's nascent democracy.
His remarks follow criticism against National Security operatives for raiding Dr Addison's residence on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
