The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has confirmed that the official X account of Ghana's president, John Dramani Mahama, has been hacked.

In a statement issued on March 18, the CSA made known that unauthorized access was detected on Monday, March 17, after the account began sharing suspicious cryptocurrency-related posts.

The breach has sparked public concern, with many questioning the security of social media accounts belonging to high-profile political figures.

The CSA, however, has assured the public that it is collaborating with X and other stakeholders to address the issue and strengthen security measures.Read Also: How I Recovered My Hacked X (Twitter) Account-A Three-Week Battle Against a Bitcoin Scammer The first signs of the hack appeared when Mahama's account started promoting a cryptocurrency project called Solanafrica.
