Activist and Democracy Hub convener Oliver Barker-Vormawor is demanding the release of his passport, accusing the previous government of deliberately obstructing his doctoral studies at Cambridge.
His call for the release of his passport comes less than 24 hours after the state dropped treason felony charges against him.
In a social media post, Barker-Vormawor alleged that the Akufo-Addo government and former Attorney General, Godfred Dame had successfully prevented him from completing his academic programme by placing him on a No-Fly List and withholding his travel documents. "Since the intention was to impede my doctoral programme, I want to say Ayekoo to the Government and to Godfred Dame.
They succeeded.
