Former Finance Minister Dr.
Mohammed Amin Adam has criticized the Mahama government's budget allocation for goods and services, arguing that it is significantly underfunded.
According to him, key social intervention programmes, including the Adwumawura Programme, the National Apprenticeship Programme, and Nkokonkitikiti-all categorized under goods and services-have been allocated insufficient funds, raising doubts about their viability. "So many of the promises they made-Adwumawura Programme, they have allocated GHC100 million, of which GHC80 million is goods and services. "Nkokonkitikiti, GHC100 million, the entire GHC100 million is in goods and services.
National Apprenticeship Programme, GHC300 million, GHC260 million is in goods and services.
