A leading criminology and criminal justice expert, Professor Justice Tankebe of the University of Cambridge, has raised serious concerns over what he describes as a troubling decline in the conviction rate of police officers facing disciplinary proceedings under the leadership of former Inspector General of Police, Dr.
George Akuffo Dampare.
Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show on Monday, March 17, Prof.
Tankebe said: "Another area that we have to consider is police professionalism, but it is difficult to get the data.
