Former Black Stars shot-stopper George Owu has named Adam Kwarasey as his top Ghanaian goalkeeper.

In an interview with 3Sports, Owu acknowledged the talent of legendary goalkeepers like Richard Kingston, Sammy Adjei, Philemon McCarthy, and Sanni Mohammed but ultimately chose Kwarasey as the standout.

Born in Norway, Kwarasey opted to represent Ghana, earning 24 caps between 2011 and 2016.

He served as the Black Stars' first-choice goalkeeper during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and started Ghana's opening match against the USA at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
