The government is set to begin re-construction of the stalled Anlo Afiadenyigba to Havedzi road in the Volta Region in the coming weeks.

This follows the allocation of over 2.4 billion cedis to the roads ministry.

The deplorable road has caused the death of a minor in recent times, attracting little effort from state authorities in recent past.

The Road Minister, Kwame Agbodza commencing a field visit to the Volta Region to access some major roads earmarked for construction on Sunday March 16, says every fund earmarked for roads will be adequately utilized to ease the burden on Ghanaians. "We have gone there, and the engineers and everybody have resolved, that we are going to re-assess and deploy a contractor to complete that section through the Lagoon all the way," he said.
