The President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has taken issue with the manner in which former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr.
George Akuffo Dampare was dismissed by President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking on Citi TV on Saturday, March 15, he described the official communication as lacking warmth and appreciation. "What concerned some of us was how the letter was written-it was really cold, without any sense of appreciation," he stated.
Cudjoe emphasized that even if leadership changes are necessary, they should be handled with dignity and respect. "At the very least, it should have included a simple 'we wish you well in your future endeavours,' but that was missing," he added.
