Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has refuted claims that his office has been allocated GH₵78 million, explaining that the funds are meant for three longstanding state agencies under his supervision.

The budgetary allocation has drawn criticism from the Minority, with Ofoase-Ayirebi MP and former Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, questioning the justification for such an amount amid the Mahama-led administration's push to cut expenditure.

Mr.

Oppong Nkrumah also pointed out that during his tenure, the Ministry of Information was allocated only GH₵6 million.
