Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak has disclosed that the government is implementing urgent humanitarian interventions to support families displaced by the recent conflict in the Sawla-Bole area.

"So, we are trying to get the exact number, after which we will see exactly what can be done," he said while addressing journalists after a meeting with the Overlord of Gonja, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, the Minister Mr.
Mohammed-Mubarak assured that relief efforts are already underway to assist the victims. "I can assure you that, in the meantime, a lot has been done; food items are coming, we are getting tents and all that," he added.
