The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association has voiced its support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) proposed policy to implement a fixed rate on imported spare parts. This endorsement comes as the country approaches the December 7 elections, where key economic policies are under intense scrutiny. The NDC's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, unveiled this policy during the party's manifesto launch at the University of Education, Winneba, on Saturday, August 24. The proposed policy aims to establish a transparent and consistent system for the charges imposed on vehicle consignments entering the country, a move that has garnered attention from various industry players.
