IMANI Africa is currently partnering with two major international organizations-the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and the International Centre for Asset Recovery (ICAR)-to launch an extensive investigation into governance and accountability issues within Ghana's strategic public institutions.
The update was shared by Franklin Cudjoe, Founding President of IMANI, on his official Facebook page.
According to Cudjoe, the investigation is being carried out confidentially and independently with the help of IMANI's retained legal team. "Detailed information covering 2014 to 2025 on 80 significant officeholders is being analysed and targets are being questioned," he stated.
He further disclosed that one of the individuals under investigation, described as a "fugitive," initially agreed to cooperate but has since gone off the radar. "One target, now a 'fugitive', has refused to answer his emails and switched all his local and international phone numbers off after agreeing to cooperate.
