A windstorm on Thursday night in Tamale has left over 1,000 female students of the Northern School of Business Senior High School without a dormitory.
As a contingency measure, the school's management has relocated and moved the boys to join other boys' hostels to help create a temporary place for the girls.
This has exacerbated the already congested situation in the school.
According to the Headmaster, Hassan Issah Dokurugu, the school is already struggling with limited space."The congestion situation in the rooms in fact can be likened to what is seen in the ant hill.
