President John Dramani Mahama has renewed his commitment to addressing Accra's perennial flooding challenges with the formation of a 7-member Anti-Flood Taskforce to tackle the problem head-on.

The Taskforce, chaired by Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations), Mr.

Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, began its work on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, with a comprehensive assessment of flood-prone areas across the capital.

The Taskforce assured Ghanaians of their resolve to identify sustainable engineering solutions to prevent future flooding disasters.
