Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was in scintillating form on Monday evening as he netted a brace to inspire FC Aarau to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Stade Lausanne-Ouchy in the Swiss Challenge League.
The former Hearts of Oak talisman opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a well-taken finish to put Aarau in control at the Stadion Brügglifeld.
Barnieh doubled his tally midway through the second half, striking in the 63rd minute to all but seal the points for the home side.
Valon Fazliu added a stoppage-time goal to complete a dominant performance and extend Aarau's unbeaten run to five matches.
