Amin Adam's comment about the previous NPP administration not collecting 10% betting tax.
The Karaga MP while addressing the media in Parliament on Tuesday, March 11 shortly after the presentation of the budget said "Ladies and Gentlemen, betting tax that they said they had abolished, we never collected betting tax.
We never implemented the betting tax so to come and tell Ghanaians that you have abolished something that was never implemented is to deceive the people of Ghana." In an exclusive interview with TV3 on Wednesday, March 12, Sammy Gyamfi described Amin Adam's comment as "lies", stating that the Karaga MP did not effectively delivered his mandate as a former finance minister.
