The Food and Beverage Association of Ghana (FABAG) has called on the Ministry of Finance to abolish the excise tax on fruit juices in the next budget.
This appeal follows the government's announcement of several tax removals in the 2025 budget, including the E-levy, Emissions tax, and Betting tax.
Speaking to Channel One News, FABAG President Reverend John Awuni noted that Finance Minister Dr.
Ato Forson likely prioritized these tax removals due to their immediate impact.
