The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC), Professor Kobby Mensah, has revealed several strategic initiatives aimed at boosting the country's tourism sector.   Speaking in an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM's Showbiz A-Z, Professor Mensah stated that his team has developed about twelve tourism products and services.

One of these is Night Tours, an initiative he believes aligns with the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) proposed 24-hour Economy policy."I have focused my attention on building products and services and also costing them, that is, making projections for the next five years - and that is what my team has been doing.

So far, we have created almost about twelve products.

We are going to do night tours (Accra by Night), we are going to do what I call Science Park Tour, we are going to do the Ghana Tourist Marketplace," he explained.
