The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has made new appointments of regional health directors to improve healthcare delivery nationwide effective April 14, 2025.
The changes, GHS said were designed to enhance the healthcare framework and align with GHS's strategic goals.
The Regional Director of Health Services for the Upper East Region, Dr Samuel Kwabena Boakye-Boateng, has become the Director of the Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division (PPMED) at GHS headquarters.
