Ernest Yaw Anim, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumawu, has pledged his commitment to working with all key stakeholders to improve the living conditions of the people in the area.
He said that although the area had witnessed progress in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, there was still a need for improvements in the socio-economic lives of the people.
Addressing the 68th Independence Day anniversary celebrations at Kumawu, he emphasized the importance of the present generation of leaders making sacrifices to improve the lives of the people, just as the country's forebearers had done.
He stated that the Independence Day celebration was a monumental event in the history of the nation. "It is a day for honoring the sacrifices of our forebears, whose courage and vision liberated us from the bonds of colonialism and guided us toward self-determination.
