Since its inception in 2020, the Connect Western Best Brains (CWBB) initiative has grown into a highly anticipated annual event, bridging the gap between public and private junior high schools in the Western Region.
Organized by Media General's subsidiary, Connect FM (97.1FM, Takoradi), the event initially launched with a modest participation of schools within the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly and Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly.
However, it has gained widespread recognition, expanding its reach to encompass fourteen Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in its fourth edition in the 2024.
The CWBB quiz competition is designed to engage Junior High School students, broadening their knowledge base and serving as a preparatory platform for BECE candidates.
