The just-ended National Economic Dialogue has come under scrutiny, with Walewale MP Abdul Kabiru Tiah Mahama expressing disappointment over the discussions held.

Speaking on JoyNews' Newsfile, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) legislator dismissed the dialogue as lacking fresh and impactful ideas. "Admittedly, they mentioned that the fine details will be presented to the President, and probably the good people of Ghana will get to read them. "But like you said, you took the words right out of my mouth-not even one single thing from the dialogue sounded strikingly new.

Not even one," he stated.

The National Economic Dialogue was expected to provide innovative solutions to Ghana's economic challenges, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss fiscal policies, economic growth strategies, and financial stability.
