The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) has, on the occasion of International Women's Day, reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to promoting the rights, equality, and empowerment of women.
This is contained in a press release to mark the ocassion. "This day is not just a celebration of women's achievements but also a reminder that we must continue the fight for a world, where every woman can thrive without fear, discrimination or limitations.
Gender equality is not just about fairness.
It is about ensuring that every woman has the opportunity to reach her full potential, just as her male counterparts do," FIDA stated.
