Parliament has given its approval for the appointment of six new deputy ministers and one minister of state to support key government portfolios.

The approved nominees include John Dumelo as Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Clement Apaak as Deputy Minister for Education, Thomas Ampem Nyarko as Deputy Minister for Finance, and Samson Ahi as Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.

The confirmation follows a vetting process where the nominees presented their visions and strategies for their respective ministries.
