The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sekyere Afram Plains, Nasira Afrah Gyekye, has assured her constituents of strategic measures to drive socio-economic development in the district.
Speaking at the 68th Independence Day celebration under the theme "Reflect, Review, and Reset," she emphasized her commitment to improving agriculture, education, healthcare, and infrastructure in the predominantly rural district.
Gyekye, the first female MP for Sekyere Afram Plains, expressed gratitude to her constituents for entrusting her with the responsibility of leadership.
She acknowledged the district's numerous challenges, including water scarcity, poor road networks, inadequate healthcare, and low educational outcomes, but reaffirmed her resolve to bring positive change. "Here in the Sekyere Afram Plains District, we face unique challenges.
