The Executive Director of the Centre for Public Awareness and Opinion (CenPOA), Michael Donyina Mensah, has stated that Ghana has little to celebrate despite marking its 68th independence anniversary from colonial rule.
He has, therefore, commended President for scaling down the celebrations, noting that the decision will save the country several million Ghana cedis.
Speaking in an interview on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Mensah remarked, "First of all, I congratulate Ghana on celebrating its Independence Day.
However, there are important issues that need to be discussed.
