Deputy Spokesperson at the Presidency, Shamima Muslim, has reinforced President John Dramani Mahama's call for peace in Bawku and its neighboring areas.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Channel One Newsroom on Thursday, March 6, she highlighted how the prolonged conflict has hindered development in the region.

She stressed that while other parts of the country are advancing, with children excelling in education and seizing opportunities, those in conflict-prone areas are being left behind.

Muslim urged all parties involved to support the government's peace efforts, emphasizing that stability is essential for progress. "I will reiterate His Excellency's message to the stakeholders in this conflict to truly commit to this peace.
