Mahama promises National Economic Dialogue in first 120 days

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has pledged to hold a National Economic Dialogue within his first 120 days in office if elected President. The dialogue will focus on creating a 4-year fiscal consolidation program, which Mahama described as a key component of his economic strategy. He said this during the launch of the NDC 2024 manifesto on Saturday August 24 at Winneba. Below are some other measures and policies proposed by the NDC
Rationalise taxes. Abolishing among others E-levy, COVID levy, and 10% levy on bet winnings.
