Flagbearer of the (NDC), , has made mockery of President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo as 'being the President Ghana never got.' Speaking at the 2024 NDC Manifesto launch in Winneba, he accused the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration of poor governance and making life unbearable for Ghanaians. According to the former president, the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration touted themselves as the best match to change the fortunes of the country by making huge promises to Ghanaians. He noted that the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration have gone down in history as the biggest political scam. "Most Ghanaians will agree that Nana Akufo-Addo is indeed the President Ghana never got. Indeed, I dare say, his much-touted economic whiz kid, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is also the economic messiah Ghana never got," he said.
