The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, has urged his subordinates to cease insulting the Ashantis amid the ongoing debate regarding their historical relationship.
According to him, discussions on historical matters should be based on facts rather than insults.
Speaking in a viral video to a group of people believed to be from the Bono community, he clarified that he has never insulted any Ashanti.
Instead, he aims to correct historical inaccuracies, particularly concerning the people of Dormaa. "My brothers in the Ashanti Region, if we say something that you believe is inaccurate, let us not resort to insults but rather engage in a factual debate.
