The Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, has told Parliament that there are currently fewer than 60 presidential staffers working at the Presidency, alongside fewer than 60 Ministers and Deputy Ministers.

According to Felix Ofosu Kwakye, the President is committed to cutting frivolous expenditure.

He insists that the President will uphold his promise to appoint no more than 60 Ministers and will not come close to the 337 political appointees under former President Akufo-Addo. "If you move from 123/125 ministers to 60 ministers, Mr Speaker, that means that you are going to buy 60 less Land Cruisers.

You are going to buy 60 less salon cars.
