Finance Minister Dr.
Cassiel Ato Forson has been urged to introduce bold fiscal reforms to strengthen Ghana's economic stability, with a strong focus on tax system improvements.
During the National Economic Dialogue's Restoring Macroeconomic Stability session, Leslie Dwight Mensah, an economist at the Institute of Fiscal Studies, highlighted the urgent need for a comprehensive review of Ghana's VAT system.
He argued that simplifying tax policies and addressing inefficiencies could significantly boost revenue generation and enhance compliance.
