The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has directed transport company, 2M Express Limited to Implement the Regulation on Pre-Trip Operational Inspections as prescribed by the National Road Safety Regulations, 2022 (L.I.2468).

The NRSA says this is to ensure minimum operational standards before the commencement of every trip and keep records of trips.

This directive amongst others follows a meeting with the transport company on Friday, February 28, 2025 over the recent spate of road traffic crashes involving 2M Express vehicles.

In a statement released on March 3, 2024 detailing the outcome of a meeting with 2M Express Limited, the NRSA in addition has also directed the company to ensure that all drivers use manual logbooks to help enforce speed limits and compliance with rules on maximum driving hours to reduce the risk of driver fatigue.
