Former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Gifty Oware-Mensah, is expected to report to the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) upon her return to Ghana on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
Reports are rife that the embattled NSA official will be arrested upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport and taken into NIB custody for questioning.
Meanwhile, key figures within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), under whose administration she was appointed, are reportedly mobilising to accompany her to the NIB offices.
The Bureau has been directed by President John Dramani Mahama, to investigate allegations of ghost names in the records of the NSA being used to siphon millions of cedis in allowances from the National Service Scheme (NSS).
