Rayo Vallecano center back Abdul Mumin's season has been curtailed after the defender suffered a season-ending knee injury against Sevilla on Saturday.
Mumin was replaced after 35 minutes at the weekend by Aridane Hernandez after he felt discomfort in his knee during the La Liga tie.
The Ghanaian, who was enjoying a blistering campaign for Vallecano, was named Rayo Player of the Month in September.
In October, his remarkable season continued when his jaw-dropping strike against Osasuna was named La Liga Goal of the Month.
