Masked armed robbers have attacked the Kansaworodo branch of the Total fuel station in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region, Monday dawn.
According to eyewitnesses, the armed robbers who were numbering about eight (8) arrived at the fuel station around 1:00am.
They indicate that the pump action wielding robbers asked the attendants to hand over the keys to their safe. "Fortunately, the keys to the safe was with the manager who was not at the premises at the time of the incident", Kwaku Adams, an eyewitness indicated.
Sources indicate that the fuel station had closed operations for the day with the attendants sleeping in one of the rooms on the premises when the armed robbers arrived.
