The Accra High Court has deferred its ruling on the prosecution's prima facie case against Assin North Member of Parliament, James Gyakye Quayson to March 27.
The court was to determine whether the prosecution had made substantial case against the Assin North MP for him to open his defence.
The legislator has been charged with offences including deceit of public officer, forgery of passport or travel certificates, knowingly making a false statutory declaration, and perjury and false declaration for office.
He has pleaded not guilty and remains on bail.
