The Germany branch of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has swiftly responded to President John Dramani Mahama's 2025 Address (SONA), describing it as a calculated attempt to mislead Ghanaians and conceal the incompetence of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
NPP Germany denounced the president's speech as "briddled with blame-shifting, half-truths, and empty promises" that fail to address the pressing economic challenges facing the nation.
This was contained in a press release signed by its Communications Director, Nana Osei Boateng, dated Monday March 3, 2025, sighted by GhanaWeb.
During his SONA presentation last week, , President Mahama admitted that "the state of our nation is not good," pointing to rising public debt, high inflation, and economic distress.
