The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, has assured the King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, of fixing the bridge on the River Offin.
The bridge on the River Offin is deteriorating.
This was brought to light by a content creator who exposes the country's lack of maintenance culture.
Speaking at the Akwasidae held on March 2, 2025, Dr Amoakohene informed the king that an assessment has been done on the bridge and it would have to be closed down.
