John Jinapor The energy sector of Ghana's economy is collapsing and the only way to change that is to change the government, Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu, John Jinapor has said. He said that the NDC's 2024 manifesto will address the issues affecting the energy sector. "The energy sector debt keeps ballooning, this manifesto seeks to rescue the energy sector and turn it around. "Renewable energy forms a major part of the manifesto, access to electricity will be a focus of the manifesto," he told TV3 ahead of the launch of the manifesto on Saturday, August 24 in Winneba. He further indicated that oil production under the current government has dropped. but the NDC, manifesto aims at producing 400,000 barrels a day if the party wins the elections to form the government. For his part, the Minority Chef Whip Kwame Agbodza said that the 2024 manifesto will focus on key areas including corruption, job creation.
