The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has provided a significant update on the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of Joana Deladem Yabani, a student whose passing has deeply shaken the university community.
In an official statement from the Office of the Registrar, KNUST revealed that investigators have retrieved Joana's laptop and mobile phone, which were found hidden behind Flint Hostel.
This crucial discovery was made possible through the analysis of CCTV footage from the hostel's security surveillance system.
Following this breakthrough, the suspect in custody was arraigned before the Circuit Court at Asafo on February 28, 2025.
